Udita feels like an outsider in Bollywood
Young, and lucky:
I belong to Dehradun. Starting out at 16, I had it easy in the world of modelling as I was treated like a kid, and thereby escaped all the bitching that goes on behind the scenes. Pooja Bhatt offered me Paap on a platter after seeing my photographs in a magazine. I consider myself really lucky as I never had to go through any struggle.
An outsider:
I do feel like an outsider in Bollywood. And that is because I don’t attend any filmi parties or award functions unless, of course, I’m paid to perform. I feel completely out of place at such events.
Choosy:
I am definitely getting film offers, but I’m not getting what I want. And as my house is running just fine, I see no reason to take up every offer that comes my way.
Image conscious:
I don’t think I have a sexy image. I lead a very simple life and love being in my jeans and kurtas.
Enviable figure:
Enviable? I’m very fat now. I looked my best at the time of Paap. But then, everyone told me that I should put on a little weight and I went all out to do so. And by the time Zeher released, everyone was telling me how I should lose some weight. That’s when I realised that some people are never happy. So now I’ve decided to follow my own regimen. I can’t be somebody
else.
Loverboy mohit:
Mohit Suri is someone I’m very close to. I meet him almost everyday, so also his sister Smilie. I’ve known them since the time of Zeher. But since both of us make a good team, people talk about us.
