I want to shed my sexy image!
I am tired of my sexy image. It has become so monotonous and any kind of monotony puts me off. Now, I want to be different. I want to look different and play such roles that audience don’t expect of me. Thanks to Priyadarshan who got me out of this image, now I am doing quite a variety of roles and working with all the renowned filmmakers like Sanjay Gupta, Rajat Kapoor and Naseerudin Shah. I am playing a corporate girl in Delhi Heights and Gangster in Rajat Kapoor’s Mytha. Then I have a Sanjay Gupta’s film, which is a thriller. I am glad that I am getting to play such varied characters.
Humorous innings
I enjoy comedy. Till date, I have worked in three comedies, so I think, I’ve got a hold on comedies by now. Now, I feel much more confident than before. But, the fact is that I just love being in front of the camera.
I don’t believe in the number game!
I don’t think there is any race in the industry. Creativity is something you can’t race with. I am here to act. I want to give my 100 percent to each and every role that comes my way. I am not in a hurry to reach somewhere. I just want to be known as a good actress.
Beauty mantra
Just feel confident and be happy and it shows on your face. This is my beauty mantra! Lots of work and lots of workout keep you fit and in shape. As far my style statement is concerned, I prefer comfort over fashion trends.
