Priyanka Chopra has decided to get under the skin of a character. Having recently signed Raj Kumar Santoshi’s London Dreams where she plays a singer, she will be learning a musical instrument for the same. “What really excites me about this role is that I get to play a singer and a musician. I’ve nursed a life-long passion for singing. In fact, if I wasn’t an actor I’d be a singer. By the way, I’ll be learning to play a musical instrument for the film,” says Priyanka.

The film also stars Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan. “I’ve worked with both Salman and Ajay in the past,” says Priyanka. “But this is the first time I will be working with Rajji. The prospect of working with him is really exciting. I’ve seen his work with Meenakshi Seshadri in Damini and Rekha, Madhur and Manisha in Lajja.

Raj Kumar Santoshi who is busy finalising the music for London Dreams with A R Rahman says, “We’ve got Ajay, Salman and now Priyanka on board and we start shooting in August.” He’s also planning another film with Ajay Devgan and Priyanka Chopra, which would have music composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

From the look of things Priyanka Chopra has got herself a very quick on-the-uptake sms beau. He responds to her cell messages pronto, she smiles softly, and this sms conversation seems to go on forever. Can’t be Harman Baweja because his cell typing skills are nothing to brag about. Her Bluffmaster director, Rohan Sippy, could be a prime suspect..but then till proven, no one’s guilty. Order, order! Phew.
