Kim Sharma not ready to change herself
Kim Sharma was always known to speak her mind, but somehow she is now earning a reputation for being over-aggressive and creating scenes quite often. Recently she slapped a foreigner– apparently for hurling abuses against India. NT catches up with the headstrong actor.
I overreact at times
Even when she was going around with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Kim had a major showdown with Shamita Shetty just because the latter starting chatting with her (then) beau. Kim got so annoyed that she even used some indecent gestures (showing her the middle finger). Apart from this, the damsel also threatened director Deepak Tijori that he dare not make a film without her, or else he will have to face the consequences. Remind her of these showdowns, and the actor says, “Yeah maybe, I overreact at times, but that is how I am-spontaneous, short-tempered and abrupt and I won’t change. Deepak’s case was media hyped, but I definitely don’t regret any of those other two acts involving Shamita and the foreigner. They got what they deserved.”
Back to life
It’s quite some time since the Kim-Yuvi split happened. So, has the wound healed? “You meet so many people everyday. Most of them you meet don’t matter to you but with some–you become emotionally close. That’s what happened between me and Yuvi. But I have recuperated and bounced back to life. Our split was sad, but definitely not unfortunate,” says the actor, refusing to add anything else.
Narrow mindsets
Kim’s revealing outfits and intimate scenes were supposed to be a major factor, which irked Yuvraj’s mother, apparently leading to their split. But Kim says, “I don’t even want to endorse or deny these stories. These are the loose talks perpetrated by people with narrow mindsets.”
Waiting for Prince Charming
Life sure takes a lot of twists and turns. Since the sexy gal claims that she has bounced back to life, is love hap-? “As of now I am not going around with anyone. I am Just taking things easy and definitely waiting for love to happen again. Life doesn’t end with things going wrong. For me love has to be spontaneous and charged with emotion,” she says. “Though I don’t go around with a wish list of any sort, I want my partner has to be a friend and a confidant,” she adds.
Love to paint
The young lady is heavily into painting these days. Does this mean that after the Khans who made headlines for splashing colours on the canvas, it’s now Kim’s turn to make headlines? To this she laughs and replies, “No, I don’t plan to make headlines. I paint the canvas for my happiness. It gives me a high.” Working on the canvas is not the only thing that Kim loves to do when she is not shooting. “I love to play squash and swim too,” says she.
